#9 - Junichi Hakoyama

Junichi Hakoyama, an inspiring photographer from Japan.

People most usually solitary figures keep walking amidst interesting backgrounds and surreal surroundings all painted in black and white,but Junichi Hakoyama loves to do this style of  street photography. 

 There is an astonishing play of light and shadows within each of these photographs. Junichi keeps us reminding the vital rules of composition in his works, when we start observing the works here, it becomes more clear that good photographs are the ones which are frankly simple yet powerful.

Each of his photos is expertly composed on his Leica M Monochrom, and features strong geometrical elements:

Junichi Hakoyama‘s profile floored me at first sight. It was love (the photographic variety) as soon as we laid eyes on his distinct high-contrast black & white street photography style.
