#2 - Takashi Yasui

"Photography is a more than a pleasure, it is a passion," Yasui says, and his passion for Japan is evident through his culturally rich images.

The second photographer i've chosen is Takashi Yasui, a Japanese photographer. Takashi Yasui is a photographer who specializes in capturing the beauty of everyday life in Japan. He's based out of Kyoto, but also works in Tokyo and Osaka so he has a range of different landscapes and surroundings to work with.  Yasui is also the founder of Japanese photography collective RECO that believes photography should be for everyone and uses everything from smartphones to high-end DSLRs to shoot photos.

What I love about Yasui's shots is that they evoke a sense of curiosity that make you want to know more about Japan and its residents.

There is always something mystery when you look into his photos, they freeze the moment, with a story in it.

It is a feeling that guiding you along to see more and know more about what does it actually mean. Like these photos , the perspective is very interesting for me.

All rights to Takashi Yasui,
